Walk by the desk of 9 Vermont Yankee employees at lunchtime on Tuesdays and you may see this sign, “Gone Mentoring: Be Back in an Hour.” These employees travel the short distance to the Vernon Elementary School to meet the shining face of their Little Brother or Little Sister for one hour each week.
