The Catamount Half Marathon & 5K Race was held on a beautiful fall day, Sunday, October 4 in Brattleboro, VT. The race benefiting Youth Services of Windham County. Tammy Richards, 41 of Williamsville, VT was the overall winner with a time of 1:22. In second place was David Foster, 45 of Manchester, NH with a time of 1:26. Third was Mike Adrian, 47 of Newfane, VT with a time of 1:30.  Dana McClelland, 33 of Vernon, VT was fourth at 1:31 with Tom Frost, 50 of Rindge, NH coming in fifth. The race started at the Brattleboro Retreat grounds on Route 30, crossing both the Dummerston Covered Bridge and the historic Rice Farm Road Bridge as well as following Route 30’s scenic West River corridor. Youth Services  recruited several dozen water station volunteers.

Youth Services’ Pacesetter Sponsors are Brattleboro Subaru, GS Precision and TransCanada. Lead race sponsors were Marlboro College & Graduate Center, and Sam’s Outdoor Outfitters.
