Who We Are

"In the school system, we see children who are constantly in transition because their families are continually on the move. I know one fifth grade girl, from a single parent family, who has moved twenty times since she was in first grade. When people need counseling or other kinds of support, I usually refer them to Youth Services because of the wide spectrum of services the agency offers."

—School Counselor, Green Street School

Since 1972 we have been dedicated to helping families thrive. Our mission is to build resilence and be a catalyst for change in Windham County communities. At Youth Services we believe in helping people learn how to grow, both as individuals and as a family, so they can solve their own problems.

Each year, with the help of hundreds of volunteers and partially funded through individual and foundation donations, this private, nonprofit works with an average of 1500 children, young people and adults. We strive to ensure all clients receive services, regardless of their ability to pay.
