Youth Services’ Board of Directors was pleased to announce the appointment of Russell Bradbury-Carlin as the agency’s new Executive Director in August. Youth Services is a Windham County nonprofit which has been helping young people and families thrive for over 40 years.
Bradbury-Carlin comes to Youth Services from Center for New Americans, an agency that works with immigrants and refugees in Western MA, where he was the Executive Director. Before joining Center for New Americans, he served as Berkshire Children and Families’ Assistant Director. In that capacity, he focused on several programs that served families involved with the Department of Children and Families in MA. Before joining Berkshire Children and Families, Russell served as Associate Director of the Men’s Resource Center in Amherst. There, he oversaw the MOVE program, a batterer intervention program that was recognized nationally and internationally.
“Russell brings a wealth of experience in social services to our agency with the management background and enthusiasm needed to guide Youth Services into the future. We are excited about Russell’s addition to our already strong leadership team,” said Tom Nunziata, President of the Board of Directors.
Youth Services’ twenty-five employees provide transformative prevention, intervention and development programs from its headquarters on Walnut Street in Brattleboro, a satellite counseling office at Park Place in Bellows Falls, and outreach on the streets and in families’ homes.
