Vickie Case, “Envoy Extraordinaire” Rejoins Youth Services Board

Vickie Case, one of four inductees into Youth Services’ ‘Hall of Fame’, has agreed to once again help steer the organization on the Board of Directors after a six-year absence from that role. Case previously served on the board for 15 years between 2003 and 2018.

Vickie Case, one of four inductees into Youth Services’ ‘Hall of Fame’, has agreed to once again help steer the organization on the Board of Directors after a six-year absence from that role.  Case previously served on the board for 15 years between 2003 and 2018.

Case is recently employed as a Business Development Manager for Great Eastern Radio where she conducts outreach to advertisers. Before that Case worked at Food Connects in their development efforts to build support for their Farm to School Program, where her passion for sustainability and health food choices for kids were evident.

Previously she worked several years at The Retreat Farm, building corporate partnerships and supporting special events as the farm evolved into its role as a local nonprofit.

“We are thrilled to have Vickie rejoin our board,” said Bradbury-Carlin, Youth Services’ executive director who explained that Case continues to be a valuable link to Windham County communities. He described the Hall of Fame as a way that Youth Services recognizes community members like Case who make outstanding and sustained contributions to the mission of the agency and its outreach.

“Vickie is a like a magnet,” Bradbury-Carlin hypothesized.  “She attracts people’s attention and interests.  This is why she is so good in all of the roles she plays in the community and why we have considered her an “envoy extraordinaire” for Youth Services,” he said.

According to Board President Ana Saavedra, Case is a ‘true believer’ in Youth Services’ mission and has never been shy about convincing others of the value of supporting the organization. “We look forward to tapping some of Vickie’s connections in the business community and benefiting from all that she has learned about development and marketing in the intervening six years. We are eager to have her contributions on our Development and Public Relations Committees,” Saavedra stated.
