Endowment Fund

"If you’ve been blessed with health and a decent livelihood, why not return your gifts to the community? And, if you can keep on giving after you’re gone, why not help the one aspect of a society that can help ensure it has a positive future—its youth?"

—The late Jesse Corum, IV, Youth Services trustee emeritus

A contribution to Youth Services’ Endowment Fund is an investment in the future of both the organization and local young people and families. Bequest to the Endowment Fund and gifts of cash and securities will help ensure the agency can continue to provide high-quality services that meet the needs of Windham County area residents for years to come.

While the principal from gifts to the Fund grows untouched, income from the Fund will provide discretionary funds each fiscal year to sustain programs, help cover unanticipated financial costs, and permit the agency to both retain and attract quality staff.

Such discretionary funds will help Youth Services fulfill its mission of being a catalyst for change in Windham County communities, equipping individuals with resilience, and helping them feel a sense of belonging, agency and purpose.

Board members emeritus, the late Jesse Corum IV and Larry Cassidy have both been honored with a named fund in the Youth Services Endowment, in addition to Thomas (Tim) Cowles, who served as on Youth Services’ Court Diversion panel for 3 decades.

There are many different ways to contribute to our 50th Anniversary Endowment Campaign;  transfer securities; make a pledge payable over 3 or more years; contribute from a Donor-Advised Fund; mail a check to Youth Services at 32 Walnut St. Brattleboro, VT 05302-6008 or charge a credit card once or monthly on-line.
